Open Call - International Creators in Residence Kyoto

We are inviting international creators to take part in a residency programme in Kyoto, hosted across three different sites:
1. KYOTO LAUNDRY CAFE - Residency for everyday research

3. Kyodo Shoko - Literary Residency

The host residences are newly selected micro-residency spaces, supported by the *** in Residence Kyoto office. Many are still developing their own ways of hosting creators, so this programme has an experimental and collaborative character.
Each site offers a distinct setting, from community-based spaces and private libraries to social practice-oriented residences. We welcome creators who are interested in developing their practice through local encounters, everyday activities, cultural exchange, and site-responsive processes.
