高木 直之 写真展「f r a c t a l e」

京都写真美術館 ギャラリー・ジャパネスクは2020年10月20日（火）から11月1日（日）まで、1階展示室にて、高木 直之 写真展「f r a c t a l e」を開催します。※最終日17:00まで

ある造形の全体像とその一部が相似していることを指す自然界における
幾何学の概念、「フラクタル」。
その〝繰り返し〟は、都市や建築物、生き物や景色、
更には、目に見えない時間の蓄積や輪廻にも潜んでいる。
混沌の中に存在する、ある種の秩序とその美しさ。
それこそが、私の心を突き動かし、カメラへと向かわせる。

“Fractal”, a concept of geometry in the natural world that indicates that the whole image of a certain structure and its parts are similar.
That “repetition” is hidden in a city, buildings, creatures and landscapes, and even in the accumulation of invisible time and reincarnation.
A kind of order and its beauty that exists in the midst of chaos.
That’s what drives my mind to go to the camera.
