The latest exhibition work "Landscape and Voice" by Toshiya Tsunoda, an artist with a rare style in the world, who deals with field recording works from the perspective of "how can we observe the environment and space" rather than musical interest. It will be held.
The work, which was announced at the Tokyo Sprout Curation in August 2020, has undergone some changes in its re-exhibition at Kyoto "Soto", and visitors will receive an unreleased sound source (CD-R) with the same content as this work. ) Will be distributed.
At the opening talk on the first day, Eisuke Yanagisawa, a researcher of Vietnamese metal musical instruments and gongs who also works on field recording works, will be invited to talk about the transition of the field recording view up to this work.
This is a valuable opportunity for Toshiya Tsunoda, who has been observing "landscapes" that can only be grasped by hearing, to talk about the process leading up to the release of works focusing on "voices". We will also deliver it for free, so please enjoy it together with the exhibited works.
